Terms and Conditions
All users who install and use the PCAdd-ons MergeFactory are subject to acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are a legal agreement between Premier Carts, Inc. doing business as PC Add-ons, herein called the Company or PCAdd-ons and the person or entity agreeing to the terms, herein called the customer, you or the user. By accessing any part of the MergeFactory, herein called MergeFactory, service, or add-on, the user agrees that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions contained herein. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the service. If you are entering into the terms and conditions on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind the company to these terms and conditions. PCAdd-ons will not be bound by, hereby objects to, and rejects, any additional provisions offered by the customer. The terms and conditions shall be governed under the laws of the state of Kansas in the United States and the exclusive venue shall be a court of competent jurisdiction located in the state of Kansas.
The MergeFactory is provided on an "AS IS" basis, without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The MergeFactory does not imply that the service will meet a customer's perceived expectations or requirements of the service. In no event shall PCAdd-ons be liable for any type of damage incurred because of the use of, or an inability to use, the MergeFactory. This includes, but is not limited to loss of data, business interruption, loss of profits, or any other direct or indirect perceived or actual harm.
The customer understands that the paid use of the service does not increase the email limits that are imposed on your account by Google. The premium version will allow the user to create multiple email and document templates that can be utilized by an individual spreadsheet. PCAdd-ons does not have a way of terminating or cancelling a users paid subscription. The user can cancel the service or remove the add-on at anytime through the spreadsheets "Add-ons" --> "Manage add-ons.." menu. PCAdd-ons does not offer any refunds under any circumstances.
Description of Service
The MergeFactory is installed through the G Suite Marketplace as a Google Sheets Add-on. The add-on is built solely using Google Apps Script through the G Suite Developer Hub. The user's Google Spreadsheet data, Document content, and Emails are never accessible to PCAdd-ons as the developer. All user data is hosted by Google and does not leave the Google environment. The MergeFactory is simple a tool that utilizes Google created API's to provide integration between G Suite products. PCAdd-ons does not have any direct control of the Google scripts platform or the G Suite environment except for what is granted by Google.
The add-on requires a Google account in order to access the service. The user must properly configure your Google account and have appropriate knowledge of G Suite (Google Spreadsheets, Google Docs, Google Drive, and Gmail) in order to utilize the service. The user must provide the appropriate equipment, internet access, and an up-to-date web browser in order to access the service. PCAdd-ons recommends the latest stable version of the Chrome browser, since this is the browser the service has been tested on. The only external source the add-on connects to is the merchant account processor (Stripe) to process subscription payments and design tools (jQuery) in order to effectively display the add-on sidebars. This add-on was developed to collect the minimum amount of personal information from the user which is outlined below.
The free version of the add-on offers most features of the premium version except it is limited to just one user created template for each Google Sheet. The concept of the free version is to provide a way for a users to install and test the features and usability of the add-on. A user template can be deleted to test other templates or you can simply copy or create a new Google Sheet to test other template types. PCAdd-ons recommends that you start with the free version to learn how to use the add-on and to understand if this add-on offers the features you think are important. Some features may be added to the MergeFactory that are not accessible by the free version in the future.
Any user who utilizes a valid coupon code for free premium trial days is providing PCAdd-ons with the same information as the Premium version below. PCAdd-ons receives an email from the users email address, free subscription days, and the paid through date when you enter a valid coupon code. All emails are retained permanently in our company G Suite Business account.
Premium users benefit from being able to create multiple document templates and email templates for each Google Sheet. An email receipt with the subscription days and paid through date is sent from your email to PCAdd-ons upon successful completion of a premium subscription. This email is in your Gmail sent folder and is your receipt for the transaction. PCAdd-ons recommends only subscribing to the service when you have a remaining email quota from Google, which is why there is a "Get remaining email quota" button in the Go Premium Sidebar. You may also receive an email confirmation from our merchant account processor (Stripe) when a successful premium subscription is completed. PCAdd-ons does not offer any refunds when a user cancels or uninstalls the MergeFactory.
